Ridesharing at FaffCon!
Lots of Faffers will be driving:
- to and from FaffCon from home or the airport
- to and from the whale watching boat,
- and to and from the Marriott from the Crowne Plaza
To help make coordinating rides (and making new Faffer friends) easier, FaffCon is using RideBuzz.org! All paid and confirmed registrants are welcome to join our rideshare group!
How It Works in 3 Easy Steps:
Really! Three steps and you’re on your way to a rideshare to FaffCon!
Step 1- Register and Enter the Group Key
Create your profile on RideBuzz.org: Go to the RideBuzz.org registration page and register as a user.
At the bottom of the registration page, you’ll see a field that asks for a “Group Registration Key”. In this field, use the code FaffCon4- it should look like this:
Once you have filled out the form and added the group registration key, submit the form.
Step 2- Check Your Email
RideBuzz will send you an email to confirm your account- you will need to click the link in the email to do so, and then you can create your password. After you have done so, find the “My Groups” link on the left side of the RideBuzz page:
On your Groups page, you will see the FaffCon 4 group:
Step 3- Find or Create A Rideshare
On the FaffCon 4 group page, you will see a list of rides, seats, and those who need rides. If you’re going to be driving and willing to carry a passenger, create a ride- if you’re a passenger and need a ride, go ahead and submit that!
