Twice. It's easy to get discouraged when gigs start drying up. Then -- BOOM! A few nice (i.e., big money) ones show up in your email out of the blue. If one looks for content supported by verifiable evidence - WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN and WHY useable knowledge vanishes like a giant vanishing thing and becomes merely anecdotes which for the most part peak at the "never very far from being interesting" level. Faffcon is a great name for an event and for the advice on an internet given to aspiring voiceoverists here's another great word, it's "invalueless".
